  1. How does the blog convey the industry to an audience?
The blog conveys the food industry to an audience by talking about the how prices are increasing through out the world which would affect the cost of food for restaurants.

  2. Who does the blog intend to serve?
The blog is intended to serve anyone but mainly those that follow global issues aka the CNN channel watchers.

  3. Does it meet its goals?
Yes because it goes on and on about the topic, which yes does not directly relate to food and beverage cost control but in the end will because restaurants will need to fix their cost control to adapt to higher food prices. They should start following the foodcostwiz blog.

From looking about the page it does not look as if the blogger uses twitter or facebook. Additionally if you see the pictures of the guys who supposedly wrote the blog than they probably wouldn't have a twitter/facebook-- how many friends could they have if they are both 95 years old.

  6. How is it similar or different?
Could you be more specific because this question is beyond vague and if it is related to the previous question that has no as an answer how do you except us to answer it.

The topic the authors claim to have knowledge of in the industry is the impact that higher food prices will have on the global.
